Wukong Culture
Wukong is a central mythological figure in the Chinese classical masterpiece 《Journey to the West》, also known as the “Monkey King.” Born from a celestial stone, he became a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi, mastering the Seventy-Two Transformations and the Cloud-Somersault technique, and wielding the magical Compliant Golden-Hooped Rod. After rebelling against the Heavenly Court, Wukong was confined beneath the Five Elements Mountain by the Buddha for five hundred years. He was later redeemed by accompanying the monk Tang Seng on the pilgrimage to the West in search of sacred scriptures. Through eighty-one trials, he overcame demons and adversity, ultimately attaining enlightenment and being bestowed the title “Victorious Fighting Buddha.”
Renowned for his intelligence, courage, defiance of injustice, unwavering loyalty, strong sense of responsibility, and deep respect for righteousness and brotherhood, Wukong stands as an enduring symbol of heroic strength and extraordinary capability.
We admire and uphold the ten defining spirits of Wukong: resistance, freedom, and a fighting spirit; loyalty, responsibility, and wisdom; optimism, a pursuit of truth, childlike sincerity, and the drive to transcend limits. Inspired by these values, we strive to serve our customers with greater dedication, excellence, and integrity—just as Wukong would.
